Government Measures to Support Businesses.

Offering support to business owners and their business is at the core of everything we do at The Fabulous Group and during these unprecedented times, it could not be more true. We understand the complexity of challenges being faced by businesses and therefore we must support one another more than ever.

We are closely monitoring the latest government guidance and are keen to keep you up to date with the latest announcements and changes that might affect you and your business.

The Chancellor has set out a package of temporary, timely and targeted measures to support public services, people and businesses through this period of disruption caused by COVID-19. This includes a package of measures to support businesses, the main highlights are outlined below.

Business Support

The UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has launched a dedicated business support helpline, where small business owners in England can get advice on how to minimise/cope with the impacts of coronavirus. The number is 0300 456 3565. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. You can also email

Tax Helpline

A helpline has been set up to help businesses and self-employed individuals with tax liabilities receive support with their tax affairs. Through this, businesses may be able to agree a bespoke 'time to pay' arrangement. If you are concerned about being able to pay your tax as a result of COVID-19, call HMRC's helpline on 0800 0159 559.

The Fabulous Group

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak and government guidance, The Fabulous Group has moved to a working from home, where possible, status.

The necessary infrastructure and Business Continuity Plans have been put in place and the team has been equipped appropriately, we are confident that we can therefore continue our service as normal.  All face to face meetings will be kept to a minimum unless essential and instead, video meetings will be arranged. In addition, any business or social events planned or being planned have also been put on hold.
